Review:

This is a well laid out book, perfect for those new to having dogs, and those that haven't had a puppy in a very long time. it even helps with problems that may arise from rescuing an older dog. the book takes you from start to finish literally with the things that you need, really need, for a puppy. including the proper size crate which many people get wrong.

Some people might be surprised to find out that they're to your old dog is really a teenager in disguise and thus they're still going to have problems for another year or two! And on that matter, some of these rules you could even use for raising teenagers, lol! It then takes you through the basics of when to feed, how to train on the leash how often to take a dog out and potty train (this may surprise those that haven't had a puppy in a long time), to the basic commands.

This is a well laid out book and should be required giving what adopting or taking on a new puppy! For those looking for a unique gift, combine this with a good leash a good collar proper size feed bowls and a fun toy that's mentioned in the book and you've got a wonderful gift basket for the new dog owner! We highly recommend this book
