Today I have not one, but two amazing gift ideas for adults, that are unique,
or can be made unique by you!

Photowall is a Swedish wall-art company that is passionate about creating inspiring living spaces with personality. They make top-quality wall décor, that give rooms a brand new look and feel. Best of all, you can choose from their thousands of designs, or upload your own. You can have them made into framed prints, canvas prints, posters, or even wallpaper! Whatever your choice, it is always made to order, after you place your order! Now your room can display what makes YOU happy!

Photowall strives to minimize its environmental impact, from start to finish. From no excess printing to printing ink that contains no solvents or hazardous chemicals, and is biodegradable. Even their print waste is recycled!

Plus, every purchase at Photowall supports Vi Agroforestry, a Swedish development cooperation organization. Together they plant around 5000 trees every year in the area surrounding Lake Victoria in East Africa. Vi Agroforestry plants crops at the same time, which returns the natural fertility to ravaged fields and puts nutritional food on tables. Planting trees improves farmer yields and family incomes, as well the trees provide firewood, lumber, animal fodder and fruit. So you know your purchase gives back not just once, but over and over!

I have an odd wall in my craft room, so I wanted something to provide some cover, but also be eye-catching. I decided on Photowall's Gritty Palace print,  in poster form, for something a little bit different. Ordering was super simple, you just click your choices, pay, and order. I had my poster in about a week, which was pretty amazing! It was well protected and everything arrived safely. You get the poster frame unassembled, to allow for your own personalization in hanging length. I do have to tell you that getting the poster IN the frame took a bit of doing!  I would recommend 2 people if you have a large poster- it makes it MUCH easier! After placing your hanging cord in the slots for it, and tying off to your length, you loosen the screws from the frames, remove the inner slat, and then feet in your post, and put it back together. Keeping the large poster in the grove was the tricky part. But eventually, we got it. They even send you a brass nail to hang your poster with! We love the way it turned out and the area looks great, and it's a reminder that all crafting is ART, and to take pride in it! It's JUST the look I was looking for.

Go head over to Photowall and check out their selections, and then look at your vacation photos. With the possibility of another lockdown looming, wouldn't it be great to look at your favorite vista on your wall instead of the same old boring paint? if you can't go on vacation, at least you can change the view you see at home! And thanks to Photowall's holiday generosity, you've got an amazing deal too:

and the other company I have to share with you is another company that gives back with its products:

novica logo

Novica began with a dream to create a better world for artisans because a better world for artisans is a better world for everyone. Along the way, the founders discovered something very important - as artisans around the world succeeded, there was also a visible and profound impact on the communities around them. Purchases made directly, and indirectly, provide for education, help with health care, fund basic needs, support children, preserve disappearing arts, and of course, spread happiness around the world.

With regional offices in regional offices in Brazil, Peru, Mexico, Guatemala, Ghana, Indonesia, Thailand, and India, the Novica team searches out not only amazing artisans, but crafts that serve, enhance, and bring happiness to those purchasing them. By practicing fair trade, the artisans are in control of their products, Novica handles shipping and packaging to you, the buyer.

And as you can see, they find some amazing products for home, office, wearing and gifting! I know looking at this collage, you can probably think of at least 8 people who would love these items! They even have face masks, paintings and sculptures, kitchenware and even organic clean makeup items!

About 7 years ago (!!) I received a ring from Novica, & it is still in excellent shape, so I decided to pick up a birthstone ring for my daughter. I think every teen should have one, & I knew they have some amazing Celtic inspired designs. I found just the right one with their Aurora wave blue topaz ring from Bali! Artisan Suar Dwipayana handcrafts it from sterling silver, creating waves of openwork on the sides of the band, and tops it with a 1-carat faceted marquise of blue topaz. I loved it immediately, & knew she would too!   The gift bag inside a gift box, was perfect for gifting too! The ring fits her middle finger perfectly, and she loves how it's an 'Irish ring', but not in a traditional style!

Novica is an amazing company, that started with an amazing mission and has KEPT to that goal, and gotten even better at helping artisans and their communities around the world! When we need unique gifts, we always head to the Novica website, to see what is new and perfect for gifting to friends and family. And now you will too! Especially, if you win this special giveaway!
