Synopsis:

Midoriya inherits the superpower of the world’s greatest hero, but greatness won’t come easy.

What would the world be like if 80 percent of the population manifested superpowers called “Quirks”? Heroes and villains would be battling it out everywhere! Being a hero would mean learning to use your power, but where would you go to study? The Hero Academy of course! But what would you do if you were one of the 20 percent who were born Quirkless?

Hawks and the Safety Commission have managed to get their hands on some top secret information. A big villain attack is coming, and the heroes must do all they can to prepare. As part of these preparations, Eraser Head and Present Mic pay a visit to Tartarus prison, while Midoriya, Bakugo and Tod
oroki begin training under Endeavor in order to become fighters who can stand on their own. In the meantime, the boys will have to survive a dinner party at the Todoroki household!

Review:

My 13 yr old is obsessed with this series, so obviously she jumped at the chance to review this ebook! To me, I don't think the anime fully translates well into novel form. The allure of anime is in the drawing and colors, that emote as well as the character's dialogue. But my daughter loved having moe background that she would have gotten in a traditional graphic cartoon-style book. The ebook didn't allow for colored drawings, but she really liked having some at the end of each chapter, to help hold the idea of what had happened. She would definitely have preferred the physical book, which is more graphic in style, but she loved learning the background of her favorite characters. Score this for the MHA fanatics in your house!
