Diaper Bag or Laptop Backpack?
Honestly, HOW would you tell from the OUTSIDE of this bag????

Designer, lifestyle influencer, and mompreneur, Donnya Negera is spreading the word that “life does not end once motherhood starts” through her fashion-forward diaper bag designs, that have taken off in our area of Louisiana, and are set to take on the world!
YUMMA means 'mother, with respectful tone" in Nigerian. Donnya wanted to make a bag that showed while we are mother's, we are also women with careers, passions and are more than ' just mom'. She wanted a diaper bag that would work BETTER for the needs of a modern mom, be quality made and long lasting, and the YUUMA Original bag was born.
The YUUMA Original bag comes in 4 colors, to best fit YOUR personality: black onyx (as shown), cinnamon brown, dusty rose and ivory. But all are made from the same premium vegan leather that not only looks like real leather, it feels and wears like the leather jackets you've had for eons, that wear better with age.
The quality continues when you check out al the hardware on the bag- It has thicker zipper pulls that are easy to grab when juggling baby, and other items thanks to their contour and length (which allows for those with nails to grab them!). Zipper teeth are sturdy- these are the type of zippers on travel bags, that are made for lots of wear and use! Even the hooks for the backstraps are thicker, and sturdier, than those normally found on better baby bags. But, they are just the right size, to keep the bag from looking clunky. Straps are made from a sturdy webbing and it is super easy to make them shorter or longer, depending on your needs at the moment!
The YUUMA Original diaper bag is made to surpass the baby phase. And as you look at the features of the bag itself, you'll soon see how it can easily follow you back to work, and serve as your everyday carry bag, instead of an open briefcase that can topple and spill contents everywhere. You can see it in the little touches, like the exterior pocket key hook, so you can easily grab your car keys. We've ALL been there, when your keys float to the bottom of the bag, when you have a squalling child. Solution found!
Again you have a well sewn in strap, with a sturdy key holder. As you can see my keys are not lightweight, and there was no pulling when they were eon the strap. The outside pockets are perfect for placing sunglasses and your keys for easy access. The front zip pocket is perfect for holding an emergency diaper, or for securing you cell phone or tablet, while having them quickly available, and as you can see, expand to the width of a tissue pack.
Both sides of the bag are different, so they can help you with different issues. One one side you have a bottom side pocket, that leads into a separate bottom compartment (which can be flattened when not in use) that is great for storing wipes, lunches, & more! You can also do like I did, and store your wallet in this section, for easy access (for example if you are at a festival or amusement park and have the bag on the back of a stroller). It's also a good way to store items you might not want to look at-we've all had the baby accident, where you've got a onesie locked into a baggie, but don't want to be handling it in the main bag- this compartment is the solution! Additionally on the side you have another ring that you can hook your keys to, or slide sunglasses in, or use for securing bag to your stroller with the straps.
Over all their are 5 exterior pockets on the YUUMA Original. You have another one on the opposite side, again with another hand ring. As you can see the pocket is pretty deep- able to hold my sunglasses, with not much showing, or a bottle of water, or your cell phone. Something else to note above, is how the zipper comes all the way down, so it is easy top open and get into everything in the bag- you know how some bags can force you to work with a small opening, not this one!
And on the back side you have a long pocket than can hold your diaper mat (more on that in a bit), or your tablet (in the picture above, I folded the mat to the size of a current iPad, so you can see how it would fit (middle picture)). You can fold the zip up and over it, so it can be secured, yet be easy to get to. Important when you have the baby at an older child's recital and want to use your tablet for filming!
The YUUMA Original has 6 interior pockets, which you can see above. The 3 pockets on the front side of the bag can each hold a baby bottle or bottle of water. The interior side pocket can as well. Then you also have the interior pocket, that is also big enough to hold your changing mat (or tablet). behind it is a secret zipper compartment, that is perfect for holding your necessities!
Even with items added in, there is still plenty of room for diapers, clothes and more on the inside space! It is more than big enough to hold a 14 inch laptop and accessories, and a small purse for example. There also is another interior key hook to attach pacifiers and teething toys. It has the same strong stitching and sturdy hook, as the outside key hook. It's also handy for putting a second set of keys inside, well secured.
I've been showing you parts of the back of the bag, but let's focus on the straps for a minute. As you can see, there is a handy carrying handle, for picking up the bag quickly, or for use without the straps. The straps are attached top and bottom on 2 sides, with strong sturdy hooks, which allow you to configure them as you need to for your comfort or for hooking onto luggage or a stroller.
For example, I pulled ne of the straps thru the carry handle and hooked to the exterior keyholder for keeping the bag to my front, but secure, while walking through a crowded area, but your could easily hook to both of the side rings and carry that way as well, if you didn't wish to use it as a backpack. You are only limited to how you are using it! Weighing in at only 3.5 pounds, it's much lighter than what it appears to be. I was able to use it for a very long day, constantly taking items in and out, and was amazed and how comfortable it is, and how easy to wear the straps are!
I know the changing mat looked huge in the first picture, but it's really not, coming in at 14x22 inches As you can see from a 14 inch laptop sitting on it and my stand in model, one of my mother's collector dolls, that is the equivalent of a 3-6 month old baby. (Louisiana humidity did a number of the baby model I was supposed to have and he missed the photo shoot, so sorry for the substitute!) It is very think- there is no padding, but it's meant to be quickly, not as something you use all the time (although you could).
They are free of toxins, PVC, phthalates, and lead, and are easily cleaned with wipes, thanks to being water resistant. Super soft, they are perfect for changing and then later to using as a table mat, for when you're at a restaurant/park and don't want to put your child's food directly on the table. Or you can turn and use them to protect your laptop and mouse, from any stickiness/germs on the table! It is available in the matching 4 colors to the Yuuma Original bag.
Their vegan leather bib is one of those items that you didn't realize you NEEDED! Seriously. It comes in all 4 colors to match your bag (or to color accessorize with!) and features and almost 3 inch deep pocket for catching crumbs, while being wipeable AND water resistant, on BOTH sides! And did I mention it is sooooo soft, that you might have a hard time getting it away from older kids, who want to hoard it (warning-sounds of 'my precious' may be heard)!
Thanks to it's 13 inch length you can use it from baby thru toddlerhood with ease. Also thanks to it's easy to use, 3 size snap neck, that is free from any sharp edges and ouchies from hair being pulled! Your baby will be the stylish babe at the restaurant!
Overall conclusion:
THIS is the bag that can literally take you from infanthood through your kids school years! You can use it as a diaper bag, a diaper/work bag, or as a weekend getaway bag. It can fit all your needs, knocking out the need for owning multiple other bags.
