Review:

Before your kids freak out when you hand them this book, tell them it's super short with big quotes and only 100 pages, then maybe they'll open it, and go sit down and start reading it like my about to be 15 (GULP) year old did! My 15 yr old declared it is more a book aimed at specific anxieties that teens generally face. For those who have ADD with anxiety or OCD with anxiety, there isn't much takeaway, as much of the book is what they've already done in cognitive behavior therapy. For those kids who don't REALIZE they have anxiety, then the book is more helpful, for getting them to understand what they may have IS anxiety and how to try to cope with it. My daughter liked all the quotes in the book, so she got some use out of it, but she recommended it more for a guidance counselor's office for general help for teens.
