What may seem like an old family favorite that dad used to make, is really something that’s very good for your kids and you when it comes to snacking!

We were sent a sample of Old Trapper beef jerky ito see you that made our snack he needs, and we discovered that not only is it an excellent source of protein, it’s one of the most delicious beef jerkys we’ve ever had!

The Old Trapper legend began with our original Old Fashioned Beef Jerky.They  season lean cuts of real steak, add brown sugar for just the right hint of sweetness, and smoke them to perfection, using real wood in their smokehouses. 

We were literally fighting over the contents of the bag and at a certain point I literally had to hide half of the bag, otherwise it would have been gone in one day, and I wouldn't have had any to snack on over the weekend! Unlike some bad jerky you've had in the past Old Trapper is tasty and not hard to chew, instead it has a pliability that makes it a medium chew, thanks to their sugar process. Their zip lock bag keeps it from getting dried out as well! And having such a large bag meant we didn't have to but it in separate bags with everyone's names in them.lol. these are the perfect after school snack your kids will be getting protein and reduced sugar then comment after school snacks. They'll get something that's actually good for them and something that their ancestors literally made! 

We found that throwing a few strips and a snack size bag for on the go snacky was perfect, especially for car rides. Plus being able to put something that's already been dried into your backpack means it can last all day at school and not get smashed, melt, or otherwise just get yucky!
