Review:

This is book 9 in the inspector Drake series, and releases in the UK next week. It's an interestign look at how Drake reacts when a case hits close to home, and hegets torn between doing his job, solving the case his way, and trying to protect Annie, while being open with her. It's a tough task, and Drake needs everyone on his team helping. With a new supervisor, he's not sure he can trust, he's on a instant deadline to not have the case taken from him, due to his involvement. As always, this is a character driven mystery, and as Drake and the reader find out more about Smyth and the second deceased, the tension races, and you'll be turning pages long into the night! Don't miss this book if you love the series! It can also be read as a stand alone.
