Synopsis:

Review:
Another interesting twist- an older lead character, deciding to follow her dream and buy a run down building in the highlands, that she and her husband had seen, and now without him, make it into a bed and breakfast. Things seem to be going well, with bookings, until murder literally comes to her yard and her guestbook. Now it is up to Ally to hunt for clues, when the victim's extended family de4scend upon the village and could cause the ruin of her new venture. A fun cozy, with a leading character who isn't afraid to speak her mind and stick to her goals, this quick read will have you looking for book 2!

About the Author:
Dee left Scotland and headed for London at the beginning of the swinging sixties. After typing her way round the West End she became an air stewardess on long haul routes with BA (then BOAC) for eight years. After that she did market research at Heathrow for both the government statistics and for BA, she became a sales rep., and was the receptionist at the Thames Television Studios in Teddington when they had the franchise.
She then ran a small B&B for ten years in Cornwall, where she lives with her husband. Dee has one son and two grandsons who live locally.
Dee has now written seven novels, the most recent being A Body at the Tearooms (the third in the Kate Palmer crime series).
