The brand aims to provide a “wild and authentic” experience to canines through a variety of premium, certified organic beef treats sourced from humanely raised cattle. They feature limited or single ingredients, ensuring that each bite encapsulates the true spirit of the ranch, with no artificial flavors, fillers, colors or preservatives. They are all slow-dried with a technique that enhances the meat's natural taste, just like you would do for your own dried beef! So each treat retains the natural vitamins, minerals and proteins of the beef itself! And this air drying process means your treats will last longer, saving you money!
The line is divided into 4 varieties, and you can tell which type you are getting by the matching bag colors. The Beef Sticks, Beef Burnt Ends and Beef Strips are from the
Ranch Cuts line, and are perfect for larger dogs, and have a more traditional texture and taste/smell, that your dog will quickly love! And you'll love just how good they are for them, as they are made with beef, skim milk and collagen from beef! You'll get healthy skin, coat and teeth with these treats!
The Originals line of Cowboy Chews, Beef Crunch and Beef Chips, are all good for medium to large dogs and feature additional natural ingredients, that make them quite tasty! Beef Crunch includes cranberries and blueberries, Beef Chips adds sweet potato and Cowboy Chews adds goat milk!
Got a smaller dog? No problem, there are air-dried treats for them too-the Organ Cuts line! Beef Heart, Beef Lung (not pictured) and Beef Liver are perfect for their smaller bites.
They are a bit softer than their larger product mates, and you may find your felines begging for them too! Our 2 felines really enjoy all of them equally- especially the part- Bengal, as her inner wild cat adored the pure beef experience (and tore the Beef Lung bag to pieces, getting to the treats, as soon as brought it out of the box! hence it wasn't in the product line pix!, LOL)
The last set of products are the Cowboy Cuts line of Beef Chuck, beef Ribeye and Beef Brisket, and like the names suggest, are better cuts of beef (according to our testers, LOL) and again are suited more to a medium to large dog, though you can break them up smaller for small dogs to enjoy too. This premiere set is made of just beef. Period. If you could dry your own meat for your dog, this is what you would make!
But of course, the truth is in the tasting!
As da kid is the Rescue Dog Queen (literally), she handed out some snack bags made from the various treats in the line, at a recent festival and every dog pretty much INHALED the treats and wanted a whole bag more! Their owners immediately pulled out their phones to order these natural treats! Unfortunately the pix of those happy pups were on a phone that didn't have a backup, and fell down the stairs that evening, and got shipped off for repair, before we realized I didn't have them for this review!
As we recently lost our Marley girl, we asked a friend and her pooch to stand in for the review, and to check out the treats and her dog Ruby made her selection of her favorites- can you tell by that smile that she can't wait to have another sample? She was a VERY willing product sampler! LOL
