What if I said to you that YOU could hold thousands of years of history in your hand?

You'd be thinking- "Oh what, volcanic ash or black sand?", but what if I said no, true, authentic BIBLICAL history?

Doesn't look very special does it?

But it is literally a once in 80 (!!) generations opportunity!
Yes, I do mean that!

It has been 80 generations since Jesus walked onto the steps of the Temple Mount in Jerusalem, taught, performed miracles and was acknowledged as the prophesized Messiah, and started the changes in Christianity that would be chronicled in our Christian bible. Add another 15-20 generations, since Solomon built the first temple there. Yes, you could be holding soil that has seen 100 generations, of Bible history! And yes, the soil is grey, because the Temple has been burned, twice!

temple mount siftingAs you can see from the clip, in 1999, construction work displaced soil at the Temple Mount, and the tons of soil were unexpectedly removed from the Temple. After being sifted by archaeologists from the Temple Mount Sifting Project (the only authorized archaeological team allowed to work with this sacred material), to find any relevant pottery fragments, ancient coins, inscriptions, and relics from the First and Second Temples, and the remaining soil is poured into specially designed bottles, to share with believers all over the world, and to help fund ongoing research at the Temple Mount. For three thousand years, the soil has been untouched on the Temple Mount, and it won't be again- for the Israeli government has ensured that no additional soil will EVER be removed from the Temple Mount again- what was gathered in 1999 is absolutely all that will ever exist for dispersal!

#templemountsoil silver pendantWe were truly blessed to be sent both editions of the special Pendant of Eternal Faith, to review, and share about with our readers (and to share a special giveaway!).

Each of the pendants comes in a specially marked glass bottle, that has been designed to showcase all the soil inside, and to let you know it is authentic to the Temple Mount Sifting project. The pendants come encased in a black velvet bag, and are available in sterling silver or gold, and are individually numbered (with matching certificate of authenticity, stamped with Israeli Archaeology and History Departments marks included). Both are packed in a specially marked gift box, that also includes a QR code (allowing you to document your participation in this historic preservation effort) and an informational booklet, making it perfect for gift giving, even to someone unaware of the Temple Mount Soil Project! As you can see, the pendant is truly a very special gift to give, or receive! It is truly a one-of-a-kind way to carry a physical connection to your faith and the land of its foundation, on your body. And to me, it is unbelievable that it is avail for UNDER $60!

It was humbling to see Miss Grace, who is in that 'college age' of questioning her faith, be immediately in awe of the pendant and what it contained, and to see her hold it in her hand over her heart, brought tears to my eyes! Sometimes the tangible can do what all the discussions in the world can not- remind us of our place in this world, and out faith! I chose to place mine over my mom and dad's urns, as I know it would have meant so much to them, and for us, it is a way of enriching our small memoriam area. The pendant would be a stunning gift to present at baptisms, confirmations, weddings, and anniversaries, to become a multi-generational part of your family's faith journey, or those of friends and relatives! It would also be a very thoughtful present for your pastor/priest at Christmas, or Easter, or for gift giving at ordinations, for those within your church.

If you, or your recipient, would rather not wear the soil, there is also a desk gift set, The Classic Gift Set, with a larger jar of soil, with it's own special design and gift box, for under $100!

The pendant (or jar) is such an awe inspiring relic of the Holy Land and your faith, to be able to have in your own home! It draws the eye and everyone will want to know more about it, and more importantly, how you were able to access such an unique, timeless item. This conversation starter might just inspire others to find their faith, as it confirms yours. So this year, give the timeless gift of faith an antiquity!
