Review:
An interesting entry into this series, Russ finds himself retired in trying to relax, but getting drawn into the local police case after chaos erupts at the Christmas parade, and he and Clare have to step in to stop people from getting seriously hurt. When his ex-deputy disappears from his current job, je ends up getting involved. But unknowingly, so has Clare. In a race to find Kevin, it's a question of who can they trust and who is playing both sides, before the bodies start piling up. The book also points the reader to the direction the series might take, and will encourage fans, and new ones alike.
