Murder in Darnley Glen: an absolutely gripping Scottish crime mystery with a massive twist by Daniel SellersMy rating: 4 of 5 stars
This is the last book of this series, at least for now, and it is a modern take on a traditional type of mystery- one with lots of misdirection, a cast of characters who may not be what they seem, a dedicated team of detectives and a missing child who may be in peril. BUT this book flips the story- the parents are secretive, have their own bodyguards and don't want to talk to the police. The suspect at first appears to be the kidnapper- but WAS she? She is obviously deceased, so is she ALSO a victim? 4 stars instead of 5 only because I figured out the possible plot a bit early in the book, but it was still enjoyable to read to the end and verify my hunches! Another winner from Sellers!
