The wife's best friend, the husband's assistant, the daughter's psychologist- they all knew something was very wrong in the Tanner household, but each one of them had their own reasons to lie and claim they had not been there the day that the Tanner family 'disappeared'. Now when the daughter comes back to town- all grown up with revenge on her mind, the town starts holding its collective breath to see where the ashes will lie. And wonder, where are her parents and her brother? Are their bodies to be found? Does she know where they are? Is she the killer, or a victim? This thriller takes the reader back and forth and lets them see the dysfunction from the inside out and to see why Aubrey is really back in town. This one will keep you reading up late into the night- be warned!
