DEATH BY THE DOZEN a BRAND NEW witty and addictive cozy murder mysteryDEATH BY THE DOZEN a BRAND NEW witty and addictive cozy murder mystery by D.B. Borton
My rating: 3.5 of 5 stars

This is the 12th book in the series, but the first I have read. I would put my review rating at 3.5 stars, just because the book can be a little all over the place and the local history angle while part of the plot line, goes on a bit much. The pig adds a good bit of humor to the book, and everyone who has been to local council meetings will well understand the chaos of an loved/hated art display causing everyone to second guess choices made. The characters are interesting, but I worry they seem a bit stereotypical, tho I applaud having an older character taking on a knew profession (detective) and using her intuitive noisiness and ability to get people to talk. The plot is a bit different, but it stretches the term cozy. It is a quick read, which is why it got the extra .5 star.
