Review
While reading this book, I thought it was maybe 3 or 4 in the series, but it actually the debut book for the author, so the first in the series! And I do believe there will be a series, based on the character building that occurred during this novel, setting up the dog walking buddies, who also work together t solve the current murder that occurs. As the dog walkers roam the park, they think they might be better suited to help the police sniff out any evidence, or suspicious subjects, and when the police start looking at Charlie as a potential suspect, they have to work double time to try to clear him. But when the second body turns up and things start to get personal, they realize it isn't a game, but literal life and death they are playing at. An interesting mystery, though I do have to admit, I guessed the killer pretty early on, but I don't think everyone will. I can see it being a British tv series too, so I won't be surprised if it gets picked up for development!
