Today is book two in two different series day! It just worked out that way! 

It's been a busy summer for the Fish and Chip Shop Detectives as they get drawn into their next investigation, hook, line and sinker...

Synopsis:

Review:

In this follow-up book, the Fish and Chips Detective Agency is back! Only they weren't expecting there next mystery to solve, to be this close to home! When their boss goes missing, after a break into the shop, they know something's not quite right and the more they dig, the more they realize they don't know their boss at all. As they enlist his driver to help them try to find him, they realize he kept a whole lot of secrets, that literally were life and death. Digging deeper, brings a suspect into play, just as their boss is found dead and suddenly the case takes on a bigger importance. Now it's not just a simple break in, it's who murdered their boss, and why! As they wonder what the future will now hold, they valiantly keep at the case, to find the murderer among them. A wonderful sophomore effort for this series can't wait to read the next one!

About the Author

From the corner of a café in Devon, former archaeologist and historian, Jenny Kane, is currently having a wonderful time writing a brand new, cosy crime, series: The Fish and Chip Shop Detectives, for Hodder & Stoughton.

Jenny Kane has been writing professionally for the past 20 years. With over 40 novels published to date (including
Misty Mornings at The Potting Shed, Midsummer Dreams at Mill Grange and A Cornish Escape as Jenny Kane, and The Folville Chronicle series as Jennifer Ash), she has also written 20 plus audio scripts and novellas for ITV's popular 1980's television show, Robin of Sherwood.
