Drew finds herself back at her hometown and taking over her aunt's shop after her death. It was unexpected and she faces more problems than she can handle, as her mother keeps trying to convince her to sell the shop, her neighboring shop owner wants to take over the property, and old crush from high school seems to have his sight on her, in the shop isn't making any money. With an employee that takes drama queen to a new level, she's not about to let her go but it's getting to that point. When she has the opportunity to help with the investigation to try to clear her aunt's name, she sees it as a way to possibly bring publicity, and customers, back into her shop. Well she knows her aunt did the best she could with the vision that she had, it didn't stop everyone from blaming her for getting it wrong. As she goes through her aunt's diaries she realizes that she didn't give them a full vision she gave them hints, and law enforcement got it wrong. She's hoping to get it right and to solve the case. But someone doesn't want her solving the case and she soon finds herself in a killer sight. This one might actually keep you guessing for a bit, even to the end! As Drew learns to trust yourself , her intuition, her visions and others, she really comes into herself and it makes this more than just a simple cozy mystery to read.
