Review:
The author goes over basic crochet stitching, including Bobble stitch (yeah, finally I know how to do it!) and working in the round, with clear diagrams, before getting into the patterns. Instructions are clear and simple to follow along with, each pattern has a color photo of the finished item, and it's easy to customize with different colors and sizes if you wanted to. I would say that they patterns are beginner through advanced, it really just demands on how much crocheting you have done. I love how she thoughtfully suggested that if making any of the toys for a baby or under 3 year old, to NOT add the glass or plastic eyes, but to embroider the eyes on instead. This is really an all-around pattern book for kids toys, and great for anyone looking to sell their own versions of the Amigurum at craft fairs.
