Community Coffee (CC to locals) may be known for their coffee (I know, duh it's their name), and I've shared about some of their coffees here on this blog before, but in the South you have to have tea as well!

If you visit in New Orleans, you probably give no thought to the tea that is served to you. But we DO! We like our tea just like our coffees: full and rich! In this Community EXCELS! I will take CC tea over Lipton any day and after a taste test, you probably would too! So when Blair over at CC offered a super Mother's Day tea pack to review, I had no problem saying YES (ok, so maybe I did a happy happy dance and called Blair come very nice endearing names, it's not like she had to twist my arm or anything...LOL)!

Blair offered me Community's Black Ceramic Polka Dot Travel Latté Mug and English Breakfast Tea Pods, which is the perfect pair for the tea-loving Mom. The pair comes packaged in a festive gift box (VERY pretty for gift purposes!). And wasn't it nice of Community to send me a Happy Early Mother's Day gift/AKA review box???

This premium blend of high-grown black teas, named after the English, produces a richly flavored, full-bodied brew. THIS is the tea to have in the morning- you almost don't miss coffee (I said ALMOST you coffee-holics, calm down-go try a cup!) ! Community has packaged their tea in pods- small circular tea bags, sans strings, that make it super easy for hot tea on the go! You get 30 one-cup pods per container, so one tin will last all month (AND they have 3 other blends and 1 decaf blend in the pods as well-check out their site for more on them)

I adore breakfast tea on lazy weekends and vacations (unfortunately I need the higher caffeine when working, from coffee). Some of my fondest memories are sipping tea with my mother on the front porch while reading the paper, tea kettle whistling away in the background for our second cup!

This blend is super and hits the spot completely in the am1

The 16 oz. black polka dot mug features a plastic removable drink lid, and is great for moms on the go (it's also very handy if you run out of the tea pods and have to use tea bags, to loop the tea bag string out of!) .  You DO have to boil your water, put in the tea bag, then pour the water in, the let steep. But the steeping part CAN be done on the go! The mug is dishwasher safe and microwave safe for reheating only, with a maximum reheat time of one minute. Note: the mug is not insulated or spill-proof.

I love the mug as it is tall and fits well in the cup holder of my suv! I've also cheated and had coffee out of it while sitting on the front porch and can attest the drink lid helps keep the beverage hot for quite a while!

I really can't recommend this package enough if you have NO idea what to get your mom, sister, grandma, aunt, greataunt for Mother's Day! It's the perfect little introduction to Community Coffee!
