rock symphonies review

Garrett, breathes new life into the classic music genre.  A unique blend of classic violin music and contemporary rock songs, Rock Symphonies is a moving celebration of Garrett’s two loves: classical music and the rock-and-roll songs of his generation.

A child prodigy born in Germany, Garrett has been amazing fans around the world since he was a young boy.  By age 12, Garrett was playing on stage with the London Philharmonic, the Los Angeles Philharmonic and the Russian National Orchestra. His self-titled debut album, David Garrett, debuted in the states at #1 on the Classical Crossover Chart and held the position for 31 solid weeks in 2009.

This cd is phenomenal! Just listen and watch the promo!

I love this cd! Seriously, this is the perfect background music for an adult Halloween party. I know that sounds weird-but wait- the stunning violin work along with the current songs and classical ones make it the perfect backdrop. Your guests will be humming and swaying to the music without realizing they are listening to a classically trained violinist!

Classical songs include: Tne 5th, Puppet Masters, Toccata, Asturias and Vivaldi or Vertigo. Modern songs include Aerosmith's Walk This Way, Paul McCartney's Live and Let Die, Gun n Roses' November Rain, Nirvana's Smells Like Teen Spirit and Zeppelin's Kashmir. The compilation , 80s Anthem, is really great as well!

I'm not sure which song is better! I love them all, but November Rain I think is tied with Live and Let Die for my favorites off this cd, Toccata is real close 3rd though!

And ladies, Mr Garrett, is very easy on the eyes as well. In fact, if you win, or buy, this cd, you may find that your preteens/teenage daughters take off with your cd! Don;t forget to check out David Garrett's website as well, to find out when he'll be performing near you- what a great mother/daughter experience if you can go!
