** THIS GIVEAWAY IS CLOSED **
Thanks to Kiwi Magazine and Mom's Meet, I was recently able to bring the line of Boiron children's homepathic remedies to my friends who are parents- both male and female! While not a traditional Mom's Club, we like to share new things we find, especially natural products, and things we think are interesting for each other!
I was sent a box of Children’s Oscillococcinum and a bottle of Children's Chestal for all the members of our group, as well as boxes of Coldcalm Tablets, Sinusalia tablets and Roxalia Throat Drops.
Children’s Oscillococcinum is for flu-like symptoms, like fever, chills, run-down feeling and body aches. When you give it to your child at the FIRST sign of any symptoms, you will be really surprised at how well ti can ward off the flu! Suitable for kids age 2 and up (!!), it works like a mother's dream! One of our mom's was able to test it literally the same day she got her box! She gave it to her son and literally 2 hours later he told her he no longer felt sick! YEAH. I have also tried it with kiddo with wonderful results!
Chestal has been in our household since kiddo turned 2! With the pulling of cold and sinus meds for kids under 6, it has been a blessing at keeping kiddo healthy! It is NOT a suppressant, instead it works WITH the body to ease coughs, by breaking up the congestion and removing it, leading to a quicker recovery! The natural honey makes it taste great AND coat and soothe the throat. Plus with no side effects or drowsiness, you feel much better giving it to your kids!
I had never heard of Children's ColdCalm before, but I consider it a miracle worker! There are 2 tubes of little pellets and you start out with a dose of 5 of them every 20 minutes, for the first treatment at the first sign of a cold. I thought kiddo would balk at this, but she thought of them like candy and gladly took them! Within an hour ALL her beginning cold symptoms (runny nose, sinus drain, headache from the nasal congestion) were GONE. AMAZING! Definitely a keeper for the medicine cabinet!
One of the dad's tried the Roxalia Throat Drops for himself, when he started having some nasal drip problems and becoming hoarse, and they were the only drops he had in the house. After the 1 hour dosage (6 tablets), he advised his voice was returned, his throat no longer felt raw and he could breathe alot better! You get 60 tablets in the box, and he had one of the blister packs, so he had plenty to last for the day. He advised he did NOT need any after the 3rd dose! He became totally convinced that Boiron's homeopathic medicines were products to keep in their medicine cabinets!
Some of the best things about Boiron's medicine line are:
- they do NOT interfere with prescription medicines or herbal remedies, there is no danger of an overdose while taking Boiron products and your regular medicines.
- they are safe for kids as young as 2
- they don't cause side effects, like drowsiness
- they work WITH the body, not against it
- kids like the taste of them, so are more willing to take them!
AND everyone can go to the Boiron website and download a $1.00 off coupon for ColdCalm, Chestal and Oscillococcinum!
