Synopsis: A young girl cherishes the time spent with her father—and Kallie is no exception. Follow her as she tags along with her Dad—to help him at the ranch and with his everyday activities. About the Author: Kayla Shurley Davidson is a stay-at-home mom and former teacher. Born in San Angelo, Texas, she grew up in the small towns of Sonora and Ozona where she spent countless hours helping her dad on the ranch. A 2004 graduate of Angelo State University, Davidson resides in West Texas with her husband and two daughters. 

Review:  If you have a little girl who loves horses and her daddy, then Daddy's Little Squirrel is sure to be a hit with her! The book is great in that is really emphasizes the importance of unconditional love on a child's self-esteem. The author's childhood is apparent as she captures the uniqueness of living on a ranch. Every daughter will be able to relate to the father/daughter relationship shown in the book, and this book would be an excellent book for Dad to read to his daughter! Kiddo really liked the book, as she has become a rock hound and anything dealing with a 'special rock' is going to hold her interest! She understood the importance of a parent's love and we read the book twice in a row on the first siting!
