Product Review and Giveaway: Boogie Wipes

If you're a follower of this blog, you know back in February our household went through a pretty nasty couple of weeks with a bacterial virus that turned into the flu for me, bronchitis then RAD flareup for kiddo, and sinus infections for the folks. Hubby came thru unscathed, but he's having sinus allergy problems now!

The one thing we went thru was about 4 boxes of Kleenex. Kiddo complained constantly and we went thru most of a bottle of Ocean Sinus saline! Had we been able to combine the two, we might have aleeveated her sore nose and cut down on the duration of her illness! Our local stores were not yet carrying Boogie Wipes, so we had to stick to Kleenex!

So when Boogie Wipes sent me a preview pack, I was super thrilled, as I KNEW with allergy season about to hit, we could definitely use them!

We were sent a pack like the picture above, which holds  30 wipes (sells for under $3). Kiddo was happy to give them a try on her next sneeze (which wasn't long due to hay and grass warnings being high for that day)! She was quite happy and said "it's soft and not ouchy". YEAH team!

We were also sent some sample packets of the different Travel packets available. Course when Kiddo saw the grape wipes, she laid claim to them, as HERS, and they went into her stash box, for when she is playing and needs a tissue! I was quite happy to see these as you always needs tissues when you're out and about, and I'd rather use a Boogie Wipe, but not have to carry the big container (my purse has enough in it!). So the regular and unscented went into my purse.

Days later while at Kiddo's school for a Olympics they were having, I was helping out with one of the groups from her class and we had no tissues with us, but one of the kids was having severe sinus drain issues. Out came the Boogie Wipe packets! By the time we were done, I noticed that her nose was running a LOT less and was not irritated at all! 

This past weekend Kiddo and I were out at the local Earth Fest and something in the air got her sneezing. I pulled out the packets and it seemed like after the second wipe her sneezing just STOPPED. Weird correlation, but we were both happy. Course Kiddo advised the unscented wipes were NOT as good as the grape ones. To which I reminded her she had them at home. so she relented and when we got home put ONE grape one in my purse. Kids!
