Product Review and Giveaway: Reach Toothbrushes and Rembrandt Whitening Products

As you all know, I ADORE/LOVE/CRAVE coffee! And iced tea! Which means yes, I am Southern! What it also means is that I do not have pearly white teeth! Give up coffee for perfect teeth? Nope.

So I was uber-thrilled when Reach/Rembrant contacted me about reviewing their new line of products to WHITEN your teeth! I was sent 2 Rembrandt Teeth Whitening kits, Rembrandt Intense Stain Toothpaste, Reach Total Care/ Whitening and Designer Toothbrushes and Reach Total Care Floss.

I have used Reach toothbrushes on and off for 3/4 ths of my life, as they came out when I was in High School! So I was delighted to review some of their new ones!

The REACH by Design Collection toothbrushes are a NEW limited-edition series of eight designs, curated by interior designers Tom Delavan, Celerie Kemble and celebrity stylist Brad Goreski. they have a Dental instrument-inspired design, with specially angled neck and multi-level bristles to remove 95% of plaque between teeth Clinically proven to remove more plaque than the leading toothbrush! The new designs are really cool looking and prefect for your tween/teen/co-ed! They make brushing FUN!

The Reach Total Care + Whitening Toothbrush has quickly become my FAVORITE toothbrush of ALL time! Seriously, I LOVE this toothbrush! I have a small mouth (hey- no comments from the peanut gallery, I really do, they use kid xrays on me at the dentist office!), and the head of this brush fits perfectly and doesn't cause my mouth any discomfort. The bristles are soft, yet have Calcium Carbonate Whitening Technology on them to help whiten your teeth, as it cleans them! The tongue cleaner on the back of the head is great- it really works! It also has a touchpoint on the bend that actually makes it super comfortable to hold- which means you brush LONGER!

The Reach Total Care Floss was not what I expected! It has their patented flexible micro-grooves technology, to help is slide easily between teeth yet remove MORE material. I actually got a popcorn kernel piece wedged between 2 teeth was thinking I was going to need a dental visit due to the pain, but decided to try the floss. AMAZING! It easily slid down one side and seriously worked at removing an edge. By then threading under the other side, I was able to actually work the kernel loose and get it out. Regular floss would NEVER have worked, it was in too tight! We've all tried the floss and it's gone to number one on our list! 

The Rembrandt Intense Stain Toothpaste was one I had seen advertised and really wanted to try! This advanced daily-use toothpaste is expertly formulated to remove tough stains, prevent new stains from sticking and actively restore and strengthen tooth enamel. Formulated with a special blend of performing micro-polishers and a strong stain-fighting ingredient that helps fight tough stains like red wine, coffee and tobacco.Now Rembrandt makes no guarantees on the toothpaste and recommends twice daily usage, plus additional usage after drinking alcohol or coffee. My teeth DID lighten some, but mostly what I felt and saw was the enamel getting stronger and having NO sensitivity to hot or cold at all! Yippee! I will definitely keep using it!

The following kits require that you have no gum disease or damage (aka, like the cut I got on my gums right before I was to review them- I had to let it totally heal before I could use them!), and if you have dental work, check with your dentist to make sure they are ok to use.

The Rembrandt 5-Day Whitening Kit contains their premium FORM-FIT Whitening Strips that mold and adhere to your teeth so they won’t slip and slide like other brands. They visibly whiten teeth in just 5 days when used just once a day. They are super easy to use- you just apply the top strip by aligning straight edge to your gum line and pressing down, securing tabs behind front teeth. Repeat with lower strip. Wear for 30 minutes, then rinse for 15 seconds and remove strips! The strips felt a touch oversized to me, but overall only having to wear for 30 minutes was easy to do. My teeth definitely lightened about 4 levels in 3 days and about 5/6 levels at the end of the 5 days. I would recommend these for more of everyday whitening, versus the 2 hours kit which is the uber-whitening of the 2!

The Rembrandt 2-Hour Whitening Kit is my second favorite item in the pack! It was super simple to use and produced amazing results! The exclusive COMFYTRAY Applicators are designed to mold to your mouth, for a dentist-like customized whitening experience. You shape the COMFYTRAY Applicators to fit your teeth, just like a dentist would, fill the bottom of the trays with a thin ribbon of the whitening gel, place over bottom and top teeth and keep on for 20 minutes.You then take them out, rinse them and your mouth out, wait ten minutes and repeat 3 more times (totaling 2 hours). Now the trays were a little large for me, but I was able to keep them in without any problem. I seriously whitened at LEAST 4 levels in only 2 steps out of the 4! By the end I had uber whitened teeth! Yippee! This is definitely the kit you need for that high school reunion, photo shoot, family reunion, vacation coming up! AND if you use the whitening toothpaste, you will only have to redo the whitening every 6 months or so! Much better than going to the dentist!


So if you want to change up your dental routine, make some much needed changes to strengthen your teeth, or return them to pearly whites, look to Reach and Rembrandt to meet your needs!
