Kiddo's comment when she opened the envelope, with this book? WOW, Cooper must really LOVE me, he keeps sending me his books to read!" . Hard to explain to a 4 yr old, that it's Angie from Propeller PR, when she's adamant that Cooper sent them!  LOL

Review: Obviously, Kiddo is smitten with the Cooper books! I loved how this book shows kids that it is HARD on the kids, when mom/dad/both are in the military and away.Kiddo was very sympathetic to this, and we talked at length about how hard it is (been there, got THAT t-shirt). In fact, by the time we finished the story, she wanted to send a bunch of HER stuffed animals along with letters of thanks, because "everyone needs a stuffed toy when they are away from home"! Hard to argue with that comment!

This is series is excellent and getting kids to understand sympathy for others, and to talk about situations with their parents. If you know a child whose parent(s) are in the military, get them this book! Homeschooling parents and teachers, this would be a great class book and project for May, for Memorial Day, for your kids!

Ready to win a copy for your child, or for a gift? Thanks to Angie, we get to offer a brand new book as a giveaway as well!
