If you're like me, you read blog reviews, and they help you make decisions on products.

Sometimes thought, you don't buy a product that has been positively reviewed, and you might wonder if a year or two later, if the blogger is still a fan of the product, and/or are they still using the product?

If there is ONE product that we have been consistently using, since we reviewed 2 years ago, it is the super wonderful Pine Brothers Softish Throat Drops!

Not only do I feel confident giving them to my child, due to what they do NOT have in them, they work!

And they have worked for Americans since 1870! Since their inception in Philadelphia as 'Pine Brothers Glycerine Tablets', they have had a consistent recipe that really works on your sore throat!

And they are truly an American success story- the company had been bought out and changed numerous times in the past one hundred and fourty years, but when it was bought by in 2011 by 3 Sisters Home Products, their quality returned, along with the original recipes! The drops are once again being made in America and have been a huge success.

I had actually bought a bunch of the bags, when I caught them on sale, and honestly, we haven't had to buy any sore throat drops in way over a year! So I was interested to see if the recipe, and quality of the drops, was still being maintained (you know what I mean, items come out and are great, and then over time cost-cutting measures kick in, and the quality suffers). So I was quite happy to be able to review the Cherry and Lemon Honey flavors again.

miss grace with pine brothers drops

As you can see by the smile on Miss Grace's face, she was thrilled to open the box and find more pucks inside! She ADORES these drops! In fact she has been a fervent fan of the drops, sharing them with her classmates, and getting them hooked on them too!

Miss Grace loves the flavors that aren't uber-sweet, and the 'gumminess' of them, almost make them seem like candy to her. I love that they are made with products I can pronounce and know what they ARE! How often does that happen? The drops are made of glycerin with natural healing from gum acacia. Ass in sugar and sunflower oil, and you have a more natural tasting drop.

We both love how well they work- with our weather going from 32 degrees on Tuesday to 72 on Saturday, we have put the new drops to some heavy use this past week! I am thrilled to say that the formula has remained the same, and that they continue to work better than any other sore throat drop I've ever tried!

pine brothers pucks

We LOVE the pucks! They keep the drops fresh and safe in backpacks and purses, and in the desk drawer at work, and are easy to refill from the larger bags! We love these drops and I know once your family tries them, you will too!

The drops are available in the original Honey and Cherry flavors, as well as Licorice. The Lemon-Citrus has been delayed, and they hope to have it out next year! The drops are available at your local CVS and Rite-Aid stores, as well as numerous other retailers. You can also purchase directly from the Pine Brothers website!
