Pear Tree Greetings Mom Kit Review #3

Pear Tree Greetings wanted us to share these notecards from the Mom's Kits we received this month for review (giving away a set of Notelette cards don't forget!) with friends and family who we haven't connected with in a while, or that we wished to make a connection with.


I shared with you about writing a note to yourself, and today I am going to share about writing a proper thank you note!


One of the things we have uber-stressed with Kiddo is thanking anyone who gives her something, and when appropriate, I write out the thank you card, based on what she tells me about the received gift, and then she signs it. being able to write her name has been a HUGE milestone for her and writing in on paper correspondence like thank you and birthday cards, gives her a great thrill!


So when we received a surprise package in the mail yesterday from Kiddo from one of our new favorite authors, Beth Bence Reinke, I knew JUST the use for the 'Pucker Up' card from the kit!


Beth was kind enough to send Kiddo some stickers and coloring pages to match the two books we reviewed ( A Wish and a Prayer and In My Bath) recently, plus a gorgeous note pad and pen (really for me, but Kiddo insisted it go on the fridge, for when SHE has to make grocery lists! 


The card was perfect to use, as Kiddo wanted to send Beth a kiss for being so sweet to her, so we wrote **swak** inside, along with our thank yous! I love these cards, as they are the perfect size for a small note, and it was a perfect teaching opportunity to reinforce saying thanks for something unexpected!
